If you are looking for seclusion yet close to the action, then this is the perfect retreat for you! We are excited for you to explore our cottage for your next Door County stay, you will be pleasantly surprised with everything Beechwood Cottage has to offer.
Interior
The interior is decorated with a warm mid-century modern charm and is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The main level features a fully-equipped, updated kitchen and open living room with high ceilings and plenty of space to sit back and relax. You'll love the remodeled bathroom with a walk-in glass shower. There is one bedroom located on the main level and a washer and dryer available for guests to use.
The relaxing sitting area located in the loft is perfect for reading a book while looking out the large windows spanning the entire front of the cottage. We always choose to sleep up in the loft, because waking up to the beautiful nature view cannot be beat.
The Essentials
We want Beechwood Cottage to be a place where people come to destress, relax and spend quality time together. Prepare to pack light, we take care of all of the essentials needed for your stay.
The kitchen is equipped with everything need to make meals during your stay including pots, pans, bakeware, mixing bowls, plates, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils, electric skillet, hand mixer, toaster, waffle maker, blender, and more!
Bath towels, washcloths, and make-up towels are provided. Travel size toiletries and a hair dryer are also available for guests. Laundry pods are also available for anyone wanting to do a load of laundry during their stay. An iron and ironing board can also be found upstairs in the supply closet.
Coffee Lovers
As a coffee fanatic myself I knew having the essentials to make a good cup of coffee was a must for the cottage. On the buffet you will find everything you need to jumpstart your day! Guests can make a cup of coffee by using our french press or Kuerig machine. We also have an electric kettle, assortment of k-cups, hot cocoa, teas, ground coffee, sugar, syrups and creamer (a frother if you are feeling extra fancy).
Sip, Sip Hooray
It's not a proper Door County trip without a stop or two to local wineries. The cabin is equipped with all of the tools you need to enjoy your favorite adult beverages. Both red and white wine glasses, beer & whiskey glasses, an ice bucket, wine opener, foil cutter, wine stoppers, bottle opener and ice trays in the fridge.

Game On!
What is a trip without playing games? Under the television guests will find 2 stocked games drawers with card games, a large assortment of board games, kids activities and more.
Sleep
The loft and main level bedroom both feature a queen memory foam bed with comfortable bedding that you'll sink right into. Each bed also features a mix of both soft and firm pillows to cater to everyones preferences. We know that getting a good night sleep while on vacation is key!

Outside
Relax and unwind on the front deck in Adirondack chairs or spend late nights playing games in the screened porch. If you are lucky enough you may see a deer or two walking through the woods. Dinners will be easy with our gas grill! We provide the propane and grilling utensils. In the summer, spend your nights around a cozy campfire. Patio chairs, poker sticks, lighters, and fire starters are provided, firewood is not.
